okay so once again i've yet to blog in a long time. oh well when the holidays come laziness and travelling kick in... not my fault! >.<>brief update: yes im much happier now, for what reasons im not gonna mention. its anybody's guess =] but in any case yes im the carefree bouncy freak of a girl i used to be, not the sobby sobby one i've been for so long. oh how i marvel at the change in me HAHAHA =X
church musical rehearsals are driving me nuts but its okay im used to it now. and now, i go to church up to 4 TIMES A WEEK. hah but no im not any much holier so yeah heh. count this: thursday for choir practice, friday for the musical, saturday also for the musical, and sunday for well, normal service! makes me wanna go whoa when i count lols. but its okay im not complaining =D
well school life is so-so, im quite at a loss at what to do with mysef honestly. its the exam weeks now; to study, or not to study? that is the question. [pardonnez for the shakespearean but cant be helped, i take lit. plus i have a test on Othello on july4 so yeah...] its like i see my classmates around me mugging [okay not exactly ALL], and i wonder what to do with myself. im leaving school in less than a month's time. okay scratch. in 3WEEKS' TIME. whatever i do in millennia now, i can forget it when i go to canada, quote my dad. and thats very true. the midterms are, from how the teachers put it, not only a test to see how much we've learnt, but also are a part of the year-end promos, which i dont have to give a damn about. cos why? i won't even be staying till the end of term3 for goodness sakes. so i really wonder, do i have to cram that hard? but at the same time, it'd be weird, and i feel weird, cos everyone around me's studying, and im not. so for once i feel like studying, so i can feel normal like everyone else. plus, i dont wanna be a distraction to my classmtes. they know full well that i dont have to study and slog myself to shitbits like they do, but i dont wanna put them in the playing-not-studying mode when they're around me. its kinda hard really, sometimes. but i have to admit, maybe i've grown a lil in a sense that i finally realise that its true. whatever you do around you, you have to watch out how it'll affect others. being in millennia has kinda taught/made me realise that. hmmm so for now im kinda balancing between work and play. i do mug occasionally, even though my slacking outweighs it more HAHA. but im coping so i guess thats fine. right?
dum dum oh yeah there's aikido too haha. yeah so im back in aikido. and sucking at it cos i haven't trained in more than a year >.<> with me when i go to canada HAH. bleh but im gonna start multi-dojo again [i sense more bruises and injuries coming my way] in july and august, partly cos i think [know] i need it. and partly cos my dad will nag me to death if i dont. so yeah. but its fun. wishing that JODY FOO and her sis JEANNETTE will come back soon cos i miss training with them =/ eh girlfriend remember to remind me to ask you out okays lols =D
hmmm oh yes the biggie of them all. going to canada. like what i told a friend:

yeah i know the feelings are really mixed but oh well. happends when you're confused, excited and scared all at the same time right? but yes truth be told, thats what im feeling now. probably there's a whole lot more than what i typed but oh well. its all jumbled up in my head now. i didnt bother to organize them till my friend jokingly asked me to "tell the truth". so there. the reality of going to stay with people i've known for only a day is kinda daunting, esp when they're gonna be your legal custodians/guardians and you're gonna stay with them under their rules for a year. yes massive difference, so welcome to my world yup.
and its gonna be all so different, in terms of racial differentiation too. like in sinagpore, chinese are the dominant race so everything's a-okay for us chinese here, not much of racist jokes and discrimination against us heh. but over in canada, chinese/asians are quite the least dominant race. and like my dad questioned me, "are you ready for racial discrimination against you just because of your race?" hmmm maybe i should've asked him, him being the veteran of this. zzz...
oh yeah and language too. wheets i get to pick up french like sweet! have been wanting to pick it up since i heard it lols. parler francais here i come lols. so mandarin, which i suck at, won't be used much there [i hope], but cantonese will! whee i'd take cantonese over mandarin any day lols =D [gosh imma disgrace to the mandarin speaking community]
plus culture shock. went through that when i went back in 2003, and im gonna get re-shocked again this august groans >.< and the town im going to, is a studying town. seriously it is. there're only schools there. well mainly i mean. high school, junior high, middle school, secondary school, universities... yeah you name it, they have it. school i mean. shopping mall? nah. no chance. maybe what i'd call a mini plaza. okay picture this: ginza plaza, and the schools and homes around it. now thats what london is some sort like. and the nearest mall, which is in toronto, is roughly 2hours away. heh heh fehoney says that there's no way i can survive there, and sadly i agree. but i'll try. i'll persevere. well i have no choice after all do i? if i screw up in canada, im screwed for life so yeah. guess london ontario will be quite the place for me to focus on my academics >.<
oh yeah bit of details. yup im leaving on august24, morning flight. please DO NOT ask me what airline im taking, esp if you're about to tell me the crash histories of that airline. i'll be landing at toronto dunnowhat airport, visit my uncle and his family and my grandparents there, then driving up to london ontario where my legal custodians stay. i'll be schooling with their eldest daughter at sir frederick banting secondary school [and you thought they only used HIGH school there lols]. i'll be going [most probably] into grade12, so that means im going in for my first and last year of canadian secondary school haha! hmmm thats pretty much all the details i have and can spare. please so DO NOT ask whether im coming back to visit during my summer holidays; i hate to bring up the subject, much less discuss it. butbutbut if you want me to come back... donate 3dollars for xianing's air ticket for coming back next year! =D okay no im kidding, but really i have no idea whether im coming back or not. my parents are kinda reluctant to get me a two-way ticket, esp since a two-way ticket costs $3000 a person. so see its not cheap okay. and apparently, cos im running out of reasons to come back, im keen on my parents' decision on letting me stay in canada during the summerbreak and either get a summer job or go to summer school of some sort, than come back and waste their money. quite sad eh? oh well who said life would be a soft fluffy pillow that'll catch your fall all the time? ho hum... so there.
anyways so much for a "brief" update, but serves me right i suppose, for being too lazy to update my blog regularly >.<

im really bored of studying not that i wanna slack at sucha crucial period but seriously if too much of a good thing is bad, how can too much of a bad thing (e.g. MUGGING) be any better right so yeahs here i am to blog... i was thinking of what to blog about and i just realised... i've yet to blog about one of the most significant days in my secondary school life... GRADUATION DAY. im such a doodoo head please...

zzz today has been a fantastic day thus far. no make that a fantastic week -.-'' yeahs first i fell on monday and got bruises on my arm, calf n thigh. then i get bullied today by my dear godbro and his oh-so good friend. zzz wow how nice huh...
okay like today siulong, tina, siulong's other friend and me were at the art room and zhixiang the extravagantly extravagant extra joined us and well havoc pretty much wrecked from there. we blasted the radio, laughed ourselves sick, went crazy, jumped over tables and stuff. then suddenly zhixiang tried to gag and te me up with black duct tape first, then with toilet paper. i mean like for goodness sakes it was so random and scary can... and then he started arm wrestling and wrestling me (with the help of siulong too so nice yeahs)... then the 2 freaks wanted to paint my hair! and no way was i sticking around to let them do that... so i ran away!
hahax yeah i ran up down left right round and about... around tables, above them and nearly wanted to crawl under them... so while i was running out the back door from siulong i totally rammed into the door handle (partly his doing too)... so yeahs i got a stupid big bruise from that... he sorta gave up when i showed him my bruise hahax... i still didnt dare to go into the art room cos well who knows what those guys can come up with right? yeahs just as i was about to return to the art room, zhi xiang came out (probably with the intention to paint my hair) and stared at my bruise, and give me the look as though i was crying lols... he was like stoning and shocked and was like ''eh you okay or not? come come i don't ka chiao you liao... okay or not???''
and just when i went in, BOTH GUYS jumped on me, painting my hair like retarded barbarians... zzz even after i showed them my bruises to beg them to stop bullying me... zzz how nice of them... guess i won't be getting graduation day presents from them lols...
and the bruise is actually kinda funky... its so badly swollen it looks like i was working out my triceps or something lols... so now my left arm looks more muscular then my right hahax... and the colour's really cool too... the centre is red, then it spreads out to blue and purple! funky eh? i have half the rainbow with me on my puny lil arm =] hahax anyways because of this week, i have like 5 bruises on my left arm: one on the back of my hand, another on the side right and left side of my arm, one around my wrist area and another near my elbow hahax so wonderful eh... so for now people... hahax so fun i went to fe honey's parents' cafe at biopolis to celebrate her SWEETSIXTEEN birthday yesterday =] hahax it was so cool man...
reg pranked her by saying she had exams on thurs 21 and couldn't make it till about 6pm... but... the thing is... she didnt! lols and fe didnt know! hahax so yeahs me and fe's friends and matt knew about it except her! well it was supposed to be a surprise after all like duh~
yeahs and the second prank was the candles... see reg and i bought self-relighting candles behind fe's back, and told her parents to plant them on her cake. so again everyone knew about it even her parents... except her... so thats like 2 pranks for reg & 1 for me boo =[
in any case i was the only lucky duck with no school that day (with the exception of reg but then again she aint in secondary sch no more =/) so that meant i could practically wear whatever i wanted. but since i couldn't decide what to wear... i wore my SCHOOL UNIFORM lols!!! its like im given a chance to NOT wear the uniform and i just HAVE to wear it out. to a PARTY/CELEBRATION lols. im beyond lamefied... oh well since just about everyone was coming from school and wearing their school uniforms, i thought why not join in the bandwagon? =] so i did... and man did i ever funk up the school uniform. like seriously. i think i flouted like nearly 10 school rules all at once???
1. i tied my hair up into 2 pony tails. but i only tied up half my head of hair... the rest were like flying all over the place like erm... some big mess? but i looked okayy la =]
2. i wore like dangling earrings. hahax estimated length: about 5 cm+? lols yeahs thats how much i flouted the rules. and openly too...
3. i wore the ring ____ gave me plus this other rocker bracelet thingie i bought from the philippines out with the uniform. and its not like they're tiny either. the ring's so shiny and the bracelet's kinda thick and boldly black, making them pretty hard to miss.
4. i couldn't help it but i just HAD to wear wonderfully colourful ankle socks out; they're so pretty lols. and they look so much nicer =]
5. i wore my fave sport shoes out which i bought from city square lols. like duh why would i wanna wear my crummy old school shoes there right?
well i can't remember the rest so i'll stop here on the rule-flouting. i would've taken a pic but if anyone saw it and reported it to my school i'd be so toast lols so yeahs im not gonna take that chance. besides why would i wanna foul my blog with pics of my school's kindergarten-like logo? like i dont see it enough already -.-''
hahax so yeahs imagine me going out like that in public on the train on the way to buona vista its like so ohmytian lols. so i used matt's social studies notes which i was gonna pass to him to cover up my school logo on the train. you know just in case i get reported for flouting school rules by people who have no better life out there than to stare at the various uniforms of students -.-'' they obviously have some form of obsessive-compulsive behaviour of some sort...
yeahs at the buona vista station matt and i were like hunting for fe and her friends and reg but there was like nobody there! so we just hung around the place waiting for some familiar face to show up and help get us to biopolis. and just the other night fe told me she'd be at the station! =[ so anyways reg appeared and was on the phone with one of fe's friends. it was so funny can? well first of all she was wearing this funny shirt (okay so i found it funny) and she was trying to take directions from fe's friend. thing is we (matt and i trailed her) ended up running all over the station lols... cos fe's friend was saying something about a 7-eleven store and reg ended up running all over the place looking for it (unfortunately it was at the biopolis not the station -.-''). so anyways we walked (what the... got shuttle bus dont wanna take -.-'') to biopolis and reg told me to ''look out for a group of 5 to 6 girls in blue pinafores and white blouses. they are highly dangerous...'' hahax i didn't know whether to buy it or not but i did just in case =]
yeahs so we met 2 of fe's friends at a bus station and started planning on how to get fe back to the cafe (cos her other friends had taken her out for a 'walk') cos reg, the surprise of the day, would be sitting there waiting for her lols... hahax well apparently when fe saw reg sitting there she was kinda reluctant to go inside the cafe i dunno why... the other friends hoarded in and were like discussing were to sit (typical girl fashion la im guilty of it too =]) fe and her dad asked how come reg appeared outta nowhere and reg explained her prank lols... and poor uncle ian! he was like the only chef there (i think) and had to cook for 11 of us! (12 if you count sam the waiter lols) and yeah we kept making fun of sam and kept calling him ''waiter~!'' i know we're such meanies lols...
so anyways we took like lotsa photos (her friends mainly) here and there... so sad my camera died on me =[ but i'll get the photos from either fe or her friends i guess boo =[ and the food there was great yup yupps =] i broke my record of eating philly's cheesesteak all the time yay!

yeahs and fe kept telling everyone that there was this 'surprise' for us but since she told me and reg on sunday we already knew it in advance: a pinata. and sam made it himself. never knew he was sucha nice guy lols... *shocked* and watching fe whack the pinata was really funny... her friends were going like ''imagine it's this teacher!'' and ''no no it's this teacher! you hate her right???'' hahax eventually sam ended up whacking the pinata like crazy and resorted to tearing it open lols cos it wouldn't burst =] boy it was candy galore =] (heard he took 3 days & 2 nights to finish it o.O)
oh yes the cake how could i not mention the cake? i'd be crazy if i don't mention it lols... uncle ian very nicely remembered to put the relighting candles on fe's cake and everyone was giggling away as we asked her to make a wish and blow out the candles... the candles were giving out sparks and fe was like ''wait why are the candles sparkling? why like that?'' and we just made her blow them out. which she of course failed to la duh =] halfway through she asked us to help her but we like ''no no its your cake la'' =] hehex we're so mean =] finally we put them out by dumping them into a glass of water... and yes it was the cake that i so love! haven't eaten it since my 14th birthday~ hahax should've eaten more of it but i was really full la =[ and reg was like on some crazy high lols... must be the cake and coffee sweets hehex =]

hahax and after fe's friends left, sam, fe, reg, me and matt piled into the backseat of fe's parents' car (im still amazed it could actually move) with me sitting on reg's lap lols... she was like some kinda booster seat-cum-seat belt thingie to me =] her parents dropped us off at clementi central where we did like walking around and getting even more high... now reg has some crazy obsession over guinea pigs and wants to buy one but fe and i are so discouraging her from that... imagine her with a pet guinea pig *freaks* and yeahs she did henna on her hand too lols that crazy girl... and i bought another abercrombie and fitch shirt again hahax can't help it i like the material =]
reg's very interesting henna... she almost made fe and me to that too...
and as usual i went home late... an hour late to be exact... my parents had given me like 4 missed calls and 2 text messages and i was kinda afraid to pick up at first cos i thought they were out to scold me or something but nooooo... it was... regarding.. the... *tadaa* GOLDFISH -.-'' they'd called and texted me to remind me to feed the fish seaweed when i came home cos they went out for dinner that night... zzz scare me for nothing -.-''

hello my new name in 4e117o6 and im currently serving a 4 year prison sentence in christchurch prison... so sad on saturday i was serving CWO in the art studio for who-knows-how-long... and the worst thing is they make us wear lies on the uniforms like ''We Love CHR!''... sighs what did i do wrong to get this? okay lammee but i was thinking of this during art on sat... hahax okayys this is a kinda postponed post... lols i love wordplay dontcha? =] yeahs so anyways i dragged myself outta my precious bed to go for art cos we were supposed to hand in our art coursework on that day... but obviously almost noone was finished by then... so we were kept prisoner there to finish up as much as possible =[ hahax yeahs n i dragged dear ol' tina down too so i wouldn't be alone =] need proof?

yeahs hahax finally managed to talk to jody today after like so many countless eons... ok maybe not that kinda talk but chat online. it's still considered talk right??? lols... anyways i mean like i miss her so much!!! haven't seen or heard from her since i stopped aikido... n that was like... wow in january??? its been so long man i miss you babe! (if you're reading this) i know the only reason you miss me is cos im the most fun person to throw around rite hahaas... your ''throwing around partner''. what the haahaas...
lols n she was like so nice. cos i told her that even if i did come back to practice, it might not be in btcc. n she went all like 'WHERE?? i go there' wha i got a shock man lols :) n i just remembered she n her sis are like, assistant leaders already... man do i feel so pathetic >.<

hahax due to 'popular' demand (if you consider 1 demand close to anything popular), im back again to write an entry dedicated to my oh-so-wonderful mummy LEECHEESAN :) now do you feel honoured mummy dearest? >.<
yeahs my mummy n i have some weird history... at first she started out as my guardian, then by some strange twist of fate, she became (more like upgraded) my mummy lols... i have loads of fun irritating my mummy (n im sure she has just as much fun irritating me back anyways), n i highly recommend anyone who's bored outta their minds to try irritating her as their hobby... see im so nice right? promote my own mummy haahaas... n i have to confess that its so fun dragging my dear mummy to take neoprints with us cos she's just plain FUNNY... always got that same blur gong gong look on her face when the pics come out...

oh gosh today must be like the most embarrassing/funny/weird/oh-my-gosh day ever of my 16 year long life lols... as far as i can remember that is...
today chee san, drey, yiwen, sam n me went to macs after geog for breakfast... then after breakfast yw wanted to try the van gogh sketch machine which is outside macs la... cs n i were standing at the side of the machine near the pillar while the rest of them were inside the machine checking it out... then out of nowhere i see kym ng. n this kinda cute guy (some people told me he's from some superhost thing). n this elevated microphone. n a CAMERA. thats for FILMING. OH MY GOSH. man was i stunned...
my head was still hanging out for all the camera to see, while kym ng was asking the 4 of them some question like "what do you normally do after school?" in mandarin, when cs suddenly pulled me behind the pillar... then out of nowhere (again) manda n co appeared n kym ng also started asking them the same questions... they ran around from macs to guardian while cs n i were contemplating on hiding in the toilet... it was kinda funny cos they practically ran after them, cameras n all... the cute superhost guy even hollered after us "at least say bye bye!!" in mandarin... cs n i hurried over to our big bunch, n i turned n waved "BYE BYE!" with my nicest smile lols (may the puking noises begin)...
man am i still feeling kinda shocked... i mean hello i so hope they DO NOT put us on national on tv... i mean if u wanna interview us, at least catch us in nicer home clothes n not in our kuku school clothes... i mean like hello who wants to get interviewed on national tv wearing a "i love chr" shirt with that cutesy *bleh* logo n the chr pe shirt??? not me n my friends, thats what i know... n for goodness sake some of us were having a bad hair day! messy hair, flyaway hair, hair full of pins, curtain hair... oh whatever u get my drift... arghs all i can hope is that they don't air this on tv with the mandarin captions "why are u guys running away???" *freaks*

i don't care if u dunno what's my blog's link or whether you're reading this now or whether you even know that im typing about you. i don't care. it's just that i hate to see my friends cry over stuff that upsets them n that they totally don't deserve. n apparently you so happen to fall into that category. the category of the stuff that my friend doesn't deserve.
your logic is so screwed up i seriously wonder what goes on inside up there... n how on earth she can put up with you for so long despite you being so unreasonable n such a moron at times. wait hold that thought, its MOST of the time actually... admit it you were a total loser when she dumped you... you were crawling all over the place like a measly little worm begging for mercy at the salvation army...
now that the 2 of you are back together, you seem to be riveting back to your old ways... guess your "i'll change for the better" promise came only with a 1 to 2 months warranty, and after that we'll just have to keep guessing... dontcha ever learn? *ponders*

lols i actually wanted to skip class today but after what happened today, i doubt i'd want to =] hahax i was like suffering thru math n chem lessons cos i was super tired n sleepy n feeling kinda feverish n cold with a dumb sore throat n to top it off my stupid sinus was running... wut tha crap la seriously... but when drey, cs, sam, tina n me went for lunch i felt a ton better cos everything was kinda funny n i guess the saying that laughter is the best medicine is true after all bahahaha =]
everything got seriously funny after everyone had a taste of the mocha i bought cos we suddenly started doing weird stuff... caffeine high like hammie i guess whoo~ like the sudden impulse to take 2 neoprints at one go (poor cs u got dragged along too huh =])... then later we all went to cold storage cos drey wanted to get chickpea flour for her f&n, n when she walked off to find the flour, all of us went into hiding at the fruits n veggies section... it was so funny cos she didn't find out till later lols... n since hiding was pretty boring, tina n i went insane over taking pics with bananas n veggies lols =]
i think chickpea flour's kinda hard to find cos we couldn't find it in cold storage so we headed over to the fairprice at civic's to look for it... more insanity there.
ok mainly tina n me la lols =] we used bunches of mini dumplings as earrings, she did an advertisement for some weird bottled thing (that was a good ad by the way lols) n posed in this weird pose beside a life-size poster of this guy n other weird stuff while drey n cs looked for the flour... hey tina n i are both art students so we know no chickpeanuts about this stuff lols =] in fact we were actually thinking of going all the way down to little india if drey needed it that badly... well a lil more reason to go berserk n run amok in the streets n take more siaoster photos =] but nah that didn't happen...

i suddenly feel very strange after this year's Philippines mission trip... its as though a part of my heart has been left there. i definitely DID NOT feel this way last year. after this year's trip, i feel more convicted to help the filipino people, reach out to them... Philippines, or more specifically, Novalivches, is like a home to me now, it seems... unflushable toilets, super ice-cold baths, the mud & dust of the roads... who cares really? i was thinking of coming back again next year, and staying longer, like 2-3 weeks... 8 days is DEFINITELY not enough.. but this is only if God's willing...
i think another reason why i feel weird is cos of adrian... he's so nice & friendly & all... im afraid im falling for him (more like tripping). so ridiculous isn't it? but im quite worried... last year, i wasn't worried about not seeing the same faces again the next year... but since i came back this year, at least 3/4 of the children & youth i saw were new faces... auntie dina, jonah & jemima are gone, for undisclosed reasons, gary, connie archie and many more are gone to who knows where... so im pretty worried about not seeing my new friends again next year, like mary grace and jonathan... but still its good to see old faces like john michael and rolly and jofel again...
i wonder if i'll still see them again next year, if i do come back... of cos, adrian included... aw man this is bad... im obsessing over a guy i hardly know and who lives more than 7 hours away from me (including time from home to changi airport: 1hr, singapore to manila:4 hrs, manilan airport to auntie flor's house: 2-3 hrs... not to mention the 'waiting' at customs & immigration... aw man...)
omg i still can't believe he's 19 ok??? he was the tagalog interpreter for dr lim (and part time torch bearer), & i was juggling roles between being a scrubber and the dental assistant for dr lim. just nicely during one of the dental/medical ministry days, we were having small talk over (as in standing over) a dental patient, and i asked him his age. "im 19 years old" came the reply. i dropped the mini-torch on (or next to, or on the floor) the dental patient and stared at him, mouth wide & all... "whoops sorry sorry pai seh..." i bent over to get the torch. even dr lim was laughing at my reaction ok... she too, couldn't help but assume he was my age... i mean, come on, he's not much taller than me (at the most 160cm) and has that funny boyish 15 or 16 year old look on his face... can't be blamed...
but im so sad!!! i missed the chance to get a photo with him... what's wrong with me??? im so living in Idiotcity man... i think i'll just get his pic from dot, only that its with her face :( at leats i wrote him a christmas card... hopefully eric cire (pronounced 'sire') will remember to pass it to him... and hopefully he isn't too shocked about the part where i told him i sorta like him. oh oh, and thanks to wen e, the toy penguin i bought from philippines has a new name thats totally appropriate: a****n. you go guess... hahax... :) oh and another thing: he's part chinese, has a chinese name and knows a *little* bit of mandarin... cool huh? and his english's pretty fluent too hahax... ok i should stop obsessing now...
